PATools Label Merge allows you to create and/or print sheets of labels quickly and easily entirely within Microsoft® Excel® software from your existing data.

The results can be output to

• a print preview for testing (or individual selection to print)
• a printer (one or more pages per sheet)
• a new workbook with each sheet of labels as a separate worksheet

You can use individual label formatting on your template, and you can insert images on a label-by-label basis.

You use this software in 3 easy steps.

1. Select your data from an existing worksheet that you want printed onto sheets of labels. Each row becomes a label, with each cell on that row becoming a new line on that label.

Alternatively if all your lines are in 1 cell [eg Mr A, 1 The Street, The Town] the software will split it out on whatever you tell it ie a comma in the above example.

Any blank cells will be ignored as will hidden rows and columns.

2. Create your template to suit your labels with just a few clicks of the mouse. If you wish, this template can be saved for future use and then always be opened up with just a single click.

3. Click 'Run'.

1. If you used the 'X' feature you must do a 'find and replace' across the whole worksheet, replacing the 'X' with '<>' (no quotes, being the 'less than' and 'greater than' symbols).

2. If you did not use the 'X' feature you now need to insert '<>' (no quotes) into each cell that you wish to be label. Tip: Enter it once and then copy and paste that cell.
